T. Allen Funeral Service will be marking their 25th anniversary this month by offering £25 off their prepaid funeral plans taken out during September.
September also represents one year since the passing of Terry Allen who succumbed to sepsis and lymphoma at the young age of 62. The popular family business in Medway is continuing in the hands of his wife Lynn and children Mark and Helen who are the fourth and fifth generation on Lynn’s side of the family.
T. Allen Funeral Service has branches in Rainham, Rochester, Strood and Twydall and has a strong bond with the local communities and surrounding areas.
“It was my father’s wish that the business kept going and that we kept the name of T. Allen out there and we feel we have done exactly that and will continue to do so,” said daughter Helen.
“We’re still going strong and our close relationship with the local communities is also as strong as ever especially during these challenging times for everyone.
“It’s been an emotional journey these last 25 years and we felt it was appropriate to mark the occasion with this special offer to the local community. All prepaid funeral plans taken out during September will have £25 taken off the cost.”

Staff members will be wearing something green in memory of Terry throughout the month of September while Lynn and other family members had taken a trip to Folkestone – a place where Terry would love to go walking – on the anniversary of the day he passed away on September 3.
“We have received so many loving wishes and messages from friends and loved ones this month and it’s amazing to see how Terry still continues to touch the lives of so many people,” added wife of 41 years Lynn.
“We’ll continue to make him proud by providing the community with sensitive and professional support during their difficult moments and especially during this pandemic.”
